Description
This contract concerns the renovation of the Turia refuge, located at an altitude of 2,410 m in the Commune of Villaroger. Its owner, the Parc national de la Vanoise, wishes to improve conditions for users and operators of the refuge, and also to meet the normative criteria for this type of establishment. The project involves renovating the existing chalet (41 m²) and creating a new 3-storey building with an additional surface area of 136 m². The existing chalet will be converted into a dormitory, while the extension will house all the other functions required for the refuge (refectory, kitchen, checkroom, sanitary facilities, storage and operator accommodation). The project's layout concepts are detailed in the architectural brief attached to the consultation file. Work is scheduled to start at the beginning of May 2024 (depending on snow conditions) and to last 6 to 7 months. The refuge is a hiking stage on the Mont Pourri tour. However, to ensure the efficiency of the work, the refuge will be completely closed to the public (including the nearby bivouac). A living quarters will be set up by Lot 1 - Earthworks/Sanitation/Main Works, and will include sanitary facilities, a refectory, a kitchen and an office for the needs of the site.
