Invitation to tender

The Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation (MAPAQ) is inviting bids for the execution of construction work for the project entitled "travaux de réfection du bâtiment DC0133 à Deschambault".

The work covered by this project is in the field of construction, more specifically in the following areas:

- Mechanical ventilation systems;

- Emergency signalling and lighting;

- Farm equipment;

- Plumbing network;

- Architectural paving.

Tender guarantee

The contractor must submit with his bid a bid security valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date and time set for the receipt of bids, in the lump sum amount of :

1. 10% of the value of the bid, if the guarantee is in the form of a bid bond issued in favor of the Government of Quebec (Minister of Finance), by a company legally authorized to act as surety;

2. 5% of the value of the bid, if the guarantee is in one of the following forms:

- a certified cheque;

- money order;

- draft;

- an irrevocable letter of guarantee.

- A bond issued or guaranteed by the Government of Quebec or by the Government of Canada or, where an intergovernmental agreement applies, by the government of the territory concerned, with a maturity not exceeding five (5) years.

Tender documents can only be obtained via the electronic tendering system (SE@O) from September 25, 2024.

Work under this mandate will begin no earlier than November 25, 2024, and end no later than February 28, 2025. The contractor will have 35 working days after the start of the work to complete it, without exceeding the latest completion date. The contractor must wait until all components have been received before starting work, which must be continuous. No interruptions will be tolerated.

Bids received will be publicly opened at 3 p.m. local time on October 25, 2024, at the following address:
