Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the District of Squamish (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Subdivision and Development Control Bylaw Update, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The District of Squamish is looking for a qualified and experienced Consultant to update the District’s existing Subdivision and Development Control Bylaw (Bylaw) with the key goals of improving efficiency and clarity of its application for the development community and meeting best practices especially regarding storm and groundwater management, environmental protection, and accessibility. The District of Squamish’s geographic location is complex including a significant portion of town being in a flood plain surrounded by steep slopes.
