Description

The City of Kitchener wishes to retain a consultant with experience in rehabilitation/replacement of Retaining Walls to restore existing Retaining Wall located on Stirling Avenue South, 150m North of the Mill Street Intersection, to maintain it in a safe operating condition while ensuring the structural integrity. The successful respondent is expected to complete the pre-design, final design, coordinate all related project needs and permits, tendering, contract administration/inspection and resident/business services during construction. All design must be completed in accordance with Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code, MTO-Structural Rehabilitation Manual, OPSS, the Region of Waterloo’s Design Guidelines and Supplemental Specifications for Municipal Services (DGSSMS) – most recent version, and the City of Kitchener Subdivision Manual, along with any other relevant City and industry standards (CKSS, OPS etc.), and community plans.
