PUBLIC INVITATION TO TENDER

The Centre de services scolaires de la Rivière-du-Nord wishes to obtain sealed bids for the conclusion of a goods procurement contract for the purchase of seventeen (17) new 53-foot tandem van semi-trailers for the Centre de formation du transport routier Saint-Jérôme.

DELIVERY SITE: 17 000, Aubin Street, Mirabel, J7J 1B1

CONTRACT DURATION: from the time of tender until August 26, 2025

DOCUMENTS TO BE OBTAINED :

As of August 15, 2024, any person or company will be able to obtain tender documents, plans and specifications and other documents relevant to the project from the distributor SÉAO (Système Électronique d'Appel d'Offres) by going to the "seao.gouv.qc.ca" site. Documents can be downloaded at a cost set by SÉAO. Assistance from SÉAO is available Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at 1-877-336-7326.

RECEIPT OF BIDS :

To be valid and considered, all bids must be received no later than 2 p.m. on September 19, 2024. Bids may be submitted by either of the following methods:

a) electronically via the SEAO and must be submitted (i.e. encrypted, transmitted, time-stamped and saved on the SEAO servers) before the date and time set for receipt of bids;

b) in a sealed envelope, at the reception desk of the Centre de services scolaires de la Rivière-du-Nord, 795 rue Melançon, Saint-Jérôme, Québec, J7Z 4L1, before the date and time set for receipt of bids;

Any bid received after this time will be automatically rejected and returned to the bidder unopened.

OPENING OF BIDS :

Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for receipt of Bids.

The School Service Centre encourages bidders to submit bids electronically.

We remind you that the regulations do not allow multiple bids to be submitted in response to the call for tenders, it being understood that the transmission of the same bid electronically and on paper constitutes the submission of multiple bids.

INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS :

This public tender is subject to the following intergovernmental agreements, which form an integral part of the tender documents:

1) Accord de Commerce et de Coopération entre le Québec et l'Ontario (ACCQO);

2) Free Trade Agreement (FTA);

3) Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).

The deadline for filing a complaint in connection with this call for tenders is September 4, 2024.

The Centre de services scolaires does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received, and does so without compensation or any other form of liability to the bidders. Subject to the provisions of the Règlement sur certains contrats d'approvisionnement des organismes publics.
