(Authorised under Section 17 of the Public Procurement Act 2006, as amended)  Provision of Security Services for MCIA for a period of Twelve (12) Months   PROCUREMENT Ref No. MCIA/IFB/2024/172 OPEN ADVERTISED NATIONAL BIDDING   1.         The MAURITIUS CANE INDUSTRY AUTHORITY(MCIA)is inviting bids from eligible and qualified potential bidders through the Government e-Procurement System for the Provision of Security Services for MCIA for a period of Twelve (12) Months.   2.         Bidding document may be downloaded from the e-Procurement System http://eproc.publicprocurement.govmu.orgReference NumberMCIA/IFB/2024/172   3.         Request for clarification should be made through the e procurement system not later than 14 days prior to the deadline for submission of bids. Reply to any request for clarification received will be made 7 days prior to the deadline for submission of bids.   4.         A Pre-bid meeting is schedule on 30 August 2024at 10:00 hours at Agricultural Mechanisation Unit, Plaines Lauzun   5.         Bids shall be submitted online on the e-Procurement System at latest by 24 September 2024 up to 13:30 hours (Mauritian time). 6.         Bidders submitting bids online by the closing date and time shall decrypt and re-encrypt their bids as from 24 September 2024 from 16.01hoursto26 September 2024 up to 13.30 hours (Mauritian time). 7.         Bids will be opened online on 26 September 2024 as from 13.31 hours at MCIA Head Office, Reduit 8.         The MCIA reserves the right;             (a) To accept or reject any bid;             (b) To annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of contract as per provision of Section 39(1) of the Public Procurement Act 2006.                                                                                                                                                               20 August 2024
