Gray cleaning and green maintenance on the outdoor areas of fifteen residential properties in the district of Karlsruhe Green maintenance:Green area maintenance:Planting areas approx. 852 sqm;Pruning of shrubs approx. 839 sqmPruning of hedges approx. 12 sqm.Meadow/lawn areas approx. 28,890 sqm.Cleaning of gray areas:Cleaning of light wells 26 piecesCleaning of playgrounds 187 sqmCleaning of drainage channels 2 sqmGeneral scope of services for green maintenanceThe Contractor shall inform the Client without delay if, on the basis of its special expertise, it comes to the conclusion that, due to special weather conditions (e.g. prolonged drought), maintenance periods or intervals other than those specified in the specifications appear to be necessary temporarily or over the longer term in order to maintain the proper condition of the green areas covered by the contract. Should the use of pesticides be absolutely necessary, the Contractor shall explain the reasons for this to the Client in writing, naming the pesticide to be used. Together with the justification of the necessity, the Contractor shall submit to the Client a copy of the certificate of expertise issued by the competent authority pursuant to Section 9 (1) of the Plant Protection Act (PflSchG). If leaf blowers/blowers, leaf vacuums, etc. are to be used on the green areas, they must be operated by rechargeable batteries.General scope of services Cleaning of gray areasCleaning primarily includes regular sweeping and removal of waste, dirt, weeds, wild plant growth and leaves. Cleaning must be carried out without chemical aids. The accumulated sweepings must be removed immediately. It shall not be swept or dumped into street gutters, street gullies, open drainage ditches, streams, or onto bike paths. Cleaning of gray areas shall be performed in such a manner as to fulfill the duty to maintain traffic safety and to prevent danger to the health and life of the users of such areas.
