The road construction project B 472 Peißenberg - Miesbach, new construction of the Bad Tölz northern bypass, is part of the gradual expansion of the B 472 as an important east-west link in the Alpine foothills and serves to increase the capacity of the B 472 and the B13, as well as to relieve the Flinthöhe in Bad Tölz from through traffic. The road construction project includes road construction and several engineering structures. A planning approval decision has been issued by the government of Upper Bavaria for the project. Construction approval was granted by the BMDV.

The Weilheim State Building Authority intends to award key project management services for the B472 northern bypass Bad Tölz project to an external contractor as part of this tender. Due to its size and complexity, the project requires additional external resources in the form of project management for the execution of the project. In particular, the preparation and execution of the construction phase require a project organization that ensures reliable coordination and control of all project participants under the leadership of the client.
The project management services put out to tender include services provided by the contractor in the role of project management and project control. The expected services of the contractor in these roles are carried out in accordance with "AHO No. 9 Project Management in the Construction and Real Estate Industry" (as of March 2020) and "AHO No. 19 Supplementary Service Profiles in Project Management for the Construction and Real Estate Industry" (as of January 2018). A contract for work and services is concluded between the client and contractor for the execution of the project management services.

The services are based on the current project status - Phase III. execution preparation up to Phase V. Project completion (according to AHO No. 9). The services shall be commissioned in stages for the specified project management phases.
The Contractor's project management shall be affiliated to the Client's project management and shall assume significant tasks from the latter in specified areas. The Contractor's project management shall represent the Client and its interests vis-à-vis external service providers, contractors and other project participants. The Contractor shall organize the tasks assigned to it independently and shall be responsible for their proper and successful execution.
The Contractor's project management shall assume the services described in the project management service profile (AHO No. 9 - Chap. 2,
§ 2) for the defined project phases (II. Preparation for execution to V. Project completion).

The period of the Contractor's services begins from December 2024 until probably September 2029 and is based on the specified framework schedule (Fig. 1 in 2024-07-19_Leistungsbeschreibung_24-051647) and the capacity planning (Fig. 3 in 2024-07-19_Leistungsbeschreibung_24-051647). The performance dates are updated during the course of the project in the monthly regular meetings between the client and contractor.
