Description
The City of Quebec is requesting tenders for the provision of professional services in landscape architecture and engineering specializing in civil, structural and electrical engineering required for three development projects on the following sites: Parc Girardin, the backyard of the Marie-Claire-Blais library and the Marie-Charlotte-Bédard gardens, in accordance with the descriptions, terms and conditions listed in this document. The sites to be redeveloped are located at the following addresses:
Borough of Beauport :
- Parc Girardin, 600 avenue Royale
La Cité-Limoilou Borough:
- Bibliothèque Marie-Claire-Blais, 1601 chemin de la Canardière
Charlesbourg Borough :
- Jardins Marie-Charlotte-Bédard: 7960, boulevard Henri-Bourassa
The supplier must endeavor to comply with the statements of requirements established by the City, which contain the essential information pertinent to the realization of the projects. These specifications contain data on the City's requirements for the projects, and provide designers with the City's expectations regarding the nature and content of the projects, their objectives in terms of costs and deadlines, and the way in which they will be carried out, as well as the main relevant technical information.
The statements of requirements and information provided in this document in no way relieve the supplier of its responsibility to develop high-performance, efficient, up-to-date and optimal works. The supplier must act as an advisor to the City on traditional and/or innovative ways of carrying out projects that will reduce construction, operation and maintenance times and costs, and improve system performance.
The supplier is at all times responsible for informing the City, as soon as they discover them, of any ambiguities, discrepancies or contradictions that may be contained in the contract documents, and for requesting any instructions or decisions that may be necessary for proper performance of the contract.
The successful supplier is responsible for designing projects to meet objectives, budgets and completion schedules.
