Description
The Fraunhofer Institute for Wood Research WKI is involved in the development of wood-based materials, in particular hybrid materials for the mobility sector. In order to further increase the use of renewable raw materials in the mobility sector, it is necessary to enable material combinations in general and suitable component design and production technology in particular and to offer interested parties suitable solution concepts. In order to become faster and more realistic in this respect, a user-friendly CNC milling machine for the production of two- and three-dimensional components is to be used at the WKI in the future.
