Description
The formal solicitation for a new 5 year contract for quarterly, bi-annually and annual preventative maintenance of Water Purification System at the USDA National Center Applied Plant Protection in Laurel, MD is now open at https://sam.gov.
Item Description: Firm Fixed Priced Contract for quarterly, bi-annually and annual preventative maintenance of Water Purification System for a base period of twelve months plus four twelve month option periods. Contractor shall provide all materials needed to accomplish the services in the statement of work (including but not limited to: overhead, general and administrative, profit, insurance, transportation, labor hours, equipment and supplies)

If an interested party’s quote package has not completed all of the items listed on the first page of Attachment_1_sf1449 12639525Q0015 form - Instructions, the quote may be considered incomplete for evaluation purposes and no further consideration will be given, thereby making quote ineligible for award.
Mandatory Pre-Submission Meeting: Prospective Quoters shall conduct a pre-submission meeting at the job site to gather information needed to submit a quote to the Contracting Officer. Contractor shall take minutes of the meeting which may supplement this statement of work. The quote shall include a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) and a proposed schedule.
The purpose of this mandatory Pre-Submission Meeting is for interested parties’ to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. However; In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
Field Investigation and Site Survey: The contractor shall coordinate, schedule and conduct site investigations and project meetings at the project location with PPM and EPM.
Site visits are at the discretion of the facility and are by appointment only. Proper government issued identification is required.
The facility manager will inform the security guards at the entrance of the building of the upcoming visitor and date or dates of the visit. The contractor (visitor) will be advised prior to the visit to bring a photo ID for entrance onto the facility. At that time, the Facility Point of Contact will be reached and will meet with the contractor at the entrance to the facility. The Facility Point of Contact will escort the contractor to the installation location
