Description
The district of Nienburg/Weser is planning the construction of a new fire department technical center (FTZ) in the
industrial estate in the village of Lemke, Marklohe municipality. This is a replacement building for the existing
the existing FTZ in Verdener Landstraße in Nienburg.
The room program comprises approx. 8,000 m² of usable space, as well as approx. 9,140 m² of outdoor areas ? exercise and training areas.
For this purpose, the approx. 3.5 ha construction site in Nienburg/Lemke is to be archaeologically examined. To make this possible, the grass/weed sward on 3.2 ha is to be removed and the topsoil in the upper areas (approx. 7,300m³) is to be removed without archaeological support and in the lower areas (approx. 16,000m³) with archaeological support down to a defined sand horizon. The soil is to be sampled and removed. Approx. 2,350m³ remain on windrows on the construction site.
