Description
Description of work: The Régie intermunicipale du center de valorisation des matières résiduelles du Haut-Saint-François et de Sherbrooke (Valoris) wishes to receive bids for the pre-purchase of process mechanical equipment, including electrical and automation components for the sequential biological reactor (SBR) and tertiary filtration as part of the project to modify the leachate treatment system at the technical landfill site.
In general, the pre-purchase includes :
- The selection of equipment to be supplied to the contractor during the leachate treatment system modification work;
- Preparation of shop drawings and other documents;
- Fabrication of equipment;
- Transportation, delivery and storage of equipment;
- Performance testing, personnel training and warranties;
- Installation and commissioning assistance.
All in accordance with the terms and conditions described in this tender document.
Tertiary filtration for the new treatment system will be via a sand filter, while for secondary treatment, two treatment scenarios are envisaged for SBR. These scenarios will subsequently be described as scenarios 1 and 2 below:
Scenario 1: Sequential biological reactor with integrated thickening
Scenario 2: Sequential biological reactor with continuous feed
This call for tenders allows bidders to submit bids for any of these scenarios. No other technology may be offered under this invitation to tender. Section V Technical Clauses details the common and specific supplies for each scenario. The requirements and characteristics of the present call for tenders relating to the two scenarios, including the price schedules, enable them to be compared with each other, while preserving fairness between bidders.
