Pre-Qualified Architectural and Engineering ConsultantsOnly architectural firms that have been prequalified by the Authority for acute care projects greater than $5M are eligible to respond to this RFP. The Authority will not consider a Proposal from a firm that is not prequalified for acute care projects greater than $5M.Proponents proposing to use Sub-Consultants for the following disciplines should use firms that are included on the Authority’s pre-qualified list of engineers (pre-qualified for any fee category):mechanical; electrical; structural; civil.The pre-qualification lists for architects and engineers may be viewed at the Fraser Health website:https://www.fraserhealth.ca/about-us/business-opportunities/Restrictive ParticipationThe successful Proponent (and their Sub consultants) to this RFP shall become Restricted Parties and shall not be permitted to join as part of any Design Build or Public Private Partnership or Strategic Alliance Model competing in any future selection process for the procurement of the Vancouver General Hospital - Emergency Department Expansion, In-Patient Tower Project.The successful Proponent and their sub-consulting team may be retained as the Authority’s compliance team for future phases of the Project upon government approval, subject to  performance evaluation and negotiated fee agreements.The Authority in its sole discretion, reserves the right to review, negotiate the contract and approve the commencement of the work for future Phases.Site Visit(s) – VCH Capital Projects Team will organize a voluntary site tour in January (date & time to be determined), prior to RFP closing date. Tours of the existing Emergency Department, Laundry Building, Research Building, and Sub-surface Utility Tunnels will be provided by Vancouver Coastal Health Authority representatives from Facilities Maintenance + Operations (FMO), Clinical, Risk & Infrastructure, and Capital Projects.
