Description
The City is seeking detailed bids from qualified firms interested in acting as the prime Consultant in providing consulting, design, and construction administration services for developing two park sites: Saigon Park and Danville Park. Saigon Park is located at 5790 Avebury Road and is a park expansion onto an undeveloped land parcel next to the existing park site. Danville Park is at 6525 Danville Road and requires new sports field lighting on two existing cricket pitches. A total construction budget of $3,100,000 has been allocated for the construction of the park improvements to be confirmed through design development (excluding consulting fees, permits fees and applicable taxes). The construction will be implemented using the CCDC 2-2008 Stipulated Price Contract, with City Amendments.The anticipated construction start date is July 1, 2025 with a substantial performance in July 2026 (weather dependant).Bidders shall refer to Appendix D – Consulting Services for details.Bidders shall refer to Appendix H and I for project environmental requirements.
