Description
This Request for Proposal (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the “City”) to prospective Bidders to submit bids for Armoured Vehicle Services for Mississauga Transit.The City requires Armoured Vehicle Services to pick up coins, bills, cheques and other securities from various Mississauga Transit locations and deliver them to the City’s designated bank (the CIBC CURRENCY OPERATIONS) or other Transit locations. Bidders must be able to demonstrate, to the City’s satisfaction, that they have appropriate staff, equipment, facilities, insurance, management policies and skills to satisfactorily carry out the services as described in the RFP. The Agreement with the successful Bidder shall be in effect for a five (5) year term from the Effective Date (the “Initial Term”), unless otherwise terminated in accordance with the terms of the Armed Vehicle Service Agreement or by mutual written agreement of the City and the Supplier. Unit price shall remain firm and fixed for the initial five (5) year contract term. The City shall have the option to renew the Agreement at its sole discretion for one (1) additional two (2) year term (the “Renewal Term”) on the same terms and conditions, subject to a CPI adjustment in accordance with the Consumer Price Index for Ontario All-items for most recent twelve (12) months available on the Government of Canada website. In no circumstances, shall the annual increase exceed 5%. Refer to APPENDIX B - Armoured Vehicle Services Agreement and APPENDIX C-Statement of Work for more details.
