NATURE AND AMOUNT OF BID SECURITY
4.01 Tender guarantee
4.01.01 Constitution
The TENDERER must accompany its Tender with a Bid Bond in an amount equivalent to TEN PER CENT (10%) of the value of the Contract for the first year, for each lot tendered, in the form of a bond issued by a Financial Institution and complying with the provisions of the model Bid Bond reproduced in Appendix 4.01 of the Tender Form.
SUBMISSION OF BIDS
The bid shall be placed in a sealed envelope and addressed to CHU de Québec-Université Laval. The name and address of the bidder and the tender number must be written on the outside of the envelope.
TENDER OPENING
Tenders will be opened by designated CHU de Québec-Université Laval personnel immediately after closing at the place, date and time indicated in the tender document. The bid opening is public.
ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS
CHU de Québec-Université Laval does not undertake to accept the lowest or any bid.
COMPLIANCE
The goods proposed in the bid must conform to the description or technical requirements in the specifications. If the bidder is unable to comply with any of the technical requirements, the bidder should contact the file manager to check whether an alternative can be found by issuing an addendum.
