Description

The contract covers the operation of the maritime affairs patrol vessel OSIRIS II.

In order to operate the vessel, the contracting authority requires an operator to manage, maintain and drive the vessel. The operator has full responsibility for the vessel for the duration of the contract.

As a rough guide, sailing time is estimated at between 60 and 250 days a year, depending on the needs of the administrations involved in the grouping agreement. The primary, but not exclusive, vocation of the patrol vessel is to carry out fisheries control missions in the Indian Ocean. The framework agreement may cover other needs requiring the holder to spend days at sea.
