Description
This Negotiated Request for Proposals (“NRFP”) invites Proposals from prospective Proponents to provide a subscription-based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and related services solution. The LIMS must be provided as a Software as a Service (SaaS) hosted off premises.” Services may include implementation (such as customization, configuration, testing and data migration), training, support, operating, maintenance, enhancement and transition-out services. The LIMS solution initiative referred to as “One Health Laboratory Information Management System (OH LIMS)” is a collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and Food (AF) with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy (ENV). It will be implemented and utilized across 3 laboratories that test, analyse and identify diseases including Plant Health Laboratory (PHL), Animal Health Centre (AHC), and the BC Environmental Laboratory (BCEL). Its primary customers will include the public sector, research institutions, businesses, external agencies, and the general public.The goal of the OH LIMS solution initiative is to implement a unified LIMS across PHL, AHC and BCEL to enhance operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, facilitate seamless data integration and sharing among laboratories and with external partners, and support advanced testing methodologies including but not limited to genomics.Further details as to the scope of this opportunity and the requirements can be found within this NRFP.
