A new, modern volunteer fire and rescue station is to be built on the property at Brockdorffstr. 22, 22149 Hamburg in Hamburg Rahlstedt in order to be able to provide and cover defensive fire protection and needs-based emergency patient care in the existing catchment area in the future.
In order to construct the planned new building, the existing building on the site must be demolished and existing planting removed from the site.
Due to the local conditions and taking into account the limited space available on the site during construction, the construction of the new building, including the associated outdoor areas, is to be carried out in a total of three construction phases. In the first construction phase, the outdoor facilities will be built at the rear of the property. This will be followed by the second construction phase with the construction of the shell. The third construction phase will take place after completion of the shell construction work. In this phase, the outdoor facilities around the building are constructed. The work in the third construction phase will be carried out in parallel with the finishing work and will continue until the building is completed. The clearing of the existing trees, the demolition of the existing building and the rough ground profiling are carried out in advance of the aforementioned construction phases for the construction of the new building, including the associated outdoor areas. After construction of the new building, an access width of approx. 3.65 m will remain on the west side and approx. 3.50 m on the east side of the building. The site is accessed from Brockdorffstrasse.
The construction site is located in a general residential area. Parking spaces for private and company cars are not available on the construction site and will not be provided by the client in the public area.

- Installation of piping system for drinking water cold/hot/circulation and waste water to the pre-laid underground pipes,
- Installation of supporting scaffolding,
- Final assembly,
- Commissioning,
- Laying of rainwater underground pipes incl. excavation, backfilling and compaction. Pre-laying of the connection pipes for the connection of the drainage objects by the outdoor installation contractor incl. excavation, backfilling and compaction,
- Laying the wastewater underground pipe to the pre-laid underground pipe from the building, including excavation, backfilling and compaction,
- Installation of the inspection chambers incl. excavation, backfilling and compaction,
- Installation of the coalescence separator with sampling shaft, lifting unit and backflow loop into the building incl. excavation, backfilling and compaction,
- Installation of the infiltration trench with throttle and sedimentation shaft incl. excavation, backfilling and compaction,
- Renewal of the rainwater and wastewater transfer shafts incl. connection of the pressure pipe coalescence separator and dismantling, excavation, backfilling and compaction.
