On-demand construction work - General contractor - Haut Richelieu Rouville (HRR) sector.
Santé Québec acting through the Centre Intégré de Santé et de Services Sociaux de la Montérégie-Centre (CISSS-MC), having its head office at 3141 boulevard Taschereau, Suite 220, Greenfield Park, Québec, J4V 2H2 is requesting tenders for construction work on the above-mentioned project.
PROJECT SUMMARY
CISSS de la Montérégie Centre is issuing a call for tenders for an on-demand contract for general contracting work for CISSSMC for a three-year period. The purpose of this call for tenders is to receive bids for a performance-on-demand contract for general contracting work for a period of three (3) firm years, with two (2) options for extensions of one (1) year each.
The Contractor shall:
Ø supply sufficient qualified manpower, bearing in mind that he may be called upon to work on several jobs at the same time and on different shifts;
Ø supply materials not otherwise provided by the PUBLIC AUTHORITY;
Ø supply tools, machinery, vehicles and other accessories required for the performance of the Work.
Award method: Lowest price
Contract duration: Three (3) years firm
Options : Two (2) extension options of one (1) year each
Bid security: Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of :
- a bond issued by a financial institution in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price or ;
- an irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a bank, savings or credit union or trust or savings company in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price.
Applicable agreements: ACCQO, AQNB, ALEC.
Receipt and opening of bids: Tenderers must obtain the documents transmitted via the SEAO. To be valid and considered, bids must be addressed to the file manager and received no later than the date and time indicated in the notice of call for tenders. Bids submitted electronically via the SEAO are also accepted.
Tenders will not be opened in person. A link to the online TEAMS meeting will be sent on the morning of the opening to all bidders who have ordered their tender documents via the SEAO.

The PUBLIC ORGANIZATION does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received under this call for tenders.
Specialized contractors, whose work is subject to the rules of the BSDQ bidding code, are required to attach a copy of their bid to the project owner at the time it is submitted to the BSDQ electronic bid transmission system (TES).
