Description
BWI intends to procure site equipment (including delivery, assembly, services and possible disposal and repair services) via a dynamic procurement system. As part of innovation projects, BWI intends to implement new space concepts that provide for the gradual conversion of BWI office space into zoned, open office and working environments. For this purpose, site equipment is required, for example, for the design of open communication, co-working and creative areas with think tanks, high desks or lounge furniture. BWI also intends to procure furniture for kitchens (including electrical equipment) and site furnishings for telecommuting or alternating workstations through this DBS.The subject matter of the award was divided into six (6) categories.
1268-NF Site Furnishings Category 6 (Workstation Supplements)Category 6 covers, first, supplemental furnishings that go beyond the traditional standard furnishings of a contracting officer's workstation, currently consisting of a height-adjustable desk, swivel chair, and 3OH storage cabinet.The contracting officer reserves the right to add additional furnishings, provided they are similar in nature to the award item included in Category 6. New items of equipment to be allocated to category 6 will be included in the requirements portfolio as part of the mini-competitions for individual contracts.
