This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 Commercial Item as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) under solicitation number 47QSCC24R0020.
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), General Supplies and Services (GSS) Portfolio, Office of Supply Chain Management (SCM), Internal Acquisitions Branch (QSCBB) is seeking proposals from contractors who can provide Global Supply outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS) Logistics Operations Solutions Support within Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands. Currently, GSA is the supplier of choice for both federal civilian and Department of Defense (DoD) consumers of office supplies, tools and hardware, houseware, furniture, and cleaning products.
The contractor will be responsible for sourcing, warehousing and delivering products within 5 business days after receipt of order in Puerto Rico and within 7 business days after receipt of order in Virgin Islands. Contractor will be responsible for its plan to allow for a “bearer pick-up option” at the contractor's warehouse for next day pick-up for in-stock items. Attachment 3 shows the National Stock Number (NSN), NSN description, Unit of Measure, and the number of items ordered in calendar year 2022 and 2023. The customer shipments may be “Shipped To” either DoD and/or Federal civilian customers in and around Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands. Attachment 13 contains a sampling of locations to which the contractor may be required to ship commodities. Attachment 13 is not an all-inclusive list; as such, the contractor must be able to deliver to any location in Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands.
