CHU de Québec-Université Laval, owner, is seeking bids for the above-mentioned project.
Tender documents can only be obtained through the SE@O electronic tendering system at www.seao.ca or at 514-856-6600 for residents of the Montreal area and toll-free at 1-866-669-7326 for residents outside the Montreal area.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the bid price, in one of the following forms:
- A bid bond issued by a financial institution, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the bid opening date; or
- A certified cheque, money order or bank draft made payable to the Project Manager; or
- An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a bank, savings or credit union or trust or savings company and conforming to the provisions of the Project Manager's "Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee" form.
Bids (one [1] original) must be received in a sealed envelope, no later than Friday, November 1, 2024 at 2 p.m. (the date and time indicated by the time stamp on the bid being deemed to be the time of such deposit), for the attention of Nicolas Ménard at the address below:

Only contractors with a business office in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by the applicable agreements and holding the required license under the Building Act are eligible to bid.
A contractor holding a restricted license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or registered in the register of companies ineligible for public contracts (RENA) and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended, is not eligible to submit a bid; these two cases of ineligibility also apply to the bidder's subcontractors.
Bidders are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both in terms of their solvency and the content of their bids, and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses.
