Project planning according to Par. 34 HOAI, work phases 1-9, extension, conversion and modernization of the existing two-group building into a four-group day nursery 0-0-4 at Fromundstraße 46, 81547 Munich.

The City of Munich is planning the following construction measures on the property:
Extension, conversion and modernization of the existing two-group day nursery at Fromundstraße 46 into a four-group day nursery for a total of 100 children. The existing building is to be constructed as a pilot project using alternative and sustainable building materials such as clay, straw and wood.

Due to the limited space available on the site, caused by the neighboring buildings adjacent to the day nursery property, the partially protected tree population, which is to be preserved, and the resulting strong shading, a building structure that is as compact as possible and possibly a roof use is necessary.

The existing building is a single-storey pavilion from 1976, which was built from solid masonry with an attached wooden roof truss. This is an offset monopitch roof with a skylight.

The existing building fabric and the extension are to be renovated and built as sustainably as possible. Clay, straw and timber construction, ecological building materials, circular construction, reuse of existing building materials from the existing building, low energy consumption in production and operation, energy generation and minimization of the sealed area are relevant topics.

The construction project is assessed as an object according to HOAI and not according to RifT.
