FINAL REMINDER to Construction ContractorsThe City of Mississauga has adopted the requirement for an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) as part of its construction contract management and construction tendering processes. This demonstrates the City’s ongoing commitment to health and safety for contractors, employees and residents.Effective July 1, 2024, the City will enter its 5th phase of the OHSMS implementation process:o All Contractors must, at minimum, be registered with an approved OHSMS to be awarded projects of values between $500,000 and $5,000,000.o All Contractor must be certified with an approved OHSMS to be awarded projects of value greater than $5,000,000. **PLEASE SEE ENCLOSED NOTICE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION**
