Organization and implementation of the Night of Knowledge 2025.
The Night of Knowledge is a major event with around 60 participating institutions from science and research, which offers over 1,000 program points spread across the entire city in just a few (usually evening) hours. The program points at the external locations are organized by the institutions. However, they need to be coordinated and integrated into the context of the overall event. In 2017, for example, more than 30,000 visitors took part. In previous events, there was a central area on Jungfernstieg, which served both as an exhibition space and stage, as well as a hub for the transfer of visitors to the individual institutions. In order to overcome the associated organizational and logistical challenges, a professional service provider is required that has experience with events in the science sector and can respond to the special requirements that arise there and ensure that everything runs smoothly. The Ministry of Science, Research and Equality (BWFGB) would like to hold the 8th Night of Knowledge in fall 2025 for the first time since the COVID pandemic.
