Description
The work involves the installation of a new 2,800 m3 standpipe at the existing WTP site and associated civil works and site piping. Site piping consists of ~90 m of 400/300 mmwaterlines with valves and tie-ins. The standpipe (bolted steel tank) package was pre-selected by the Owner and will be transferred to the General Contractor by Novation Agreement. The standpipe supplier will be responsible for the erection of the standpipe. The General Contractor will be responsible for the new standpipe raft foundation that consists of ~750 m3 of compacted granular base, and ~250 m3 of cast in place concrete. The work also includes the supply and installation of a new Trihalomethane Stripping System (TRS) to be placed inside the new standpipe by the General Contractor. The package includes a new control panel to be installed inside the WTP and new power supplied to new equipment installed in and around the standpipe. The work includes ~125 m of new 800 mm dia insulated ductwork installed onto standpipe for TRS equipment. Ductwork is to be supplied by the General Contractor but installed by standpipe supplier as they erect the standpipe in sections. Concrete standpipe foundation is anticipated to be completed in sparing 2025 to be able to complete standpipe erection and testing by end of September 2025. Foundation could also start in 2024 if contractor prefers, but standpipe delivery and erection is still 2025.Engineer's Estimate $3,503,350.00
