Description
Transport Canada, Road Safety and Motor Vehicle Regulation Directorate, among other responsibilities, monitors the industry’s self-certification with the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Act and its Regulations to ensure compliance.
The objective of this contract is to carry out independent compliance testing on selected motor vehicle components and equipment in accordance with specified requirements of the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS) within specifications provided by the Compliance Engineering, Vehicle and Equipment Testing Division of Transport Canada.
To provide the Compliance Engineering, Vehicle and Equipment Testing Division of Transport Canada with testing services and test data in order to verify the compliance of representative tires with specified requirements of current CMVSS.
