Description
Trinity College Dublin would like to invite tenders for the Design, Construction, Supply, Delivery and Commissioning of a Custom-Built Mobile Phonetics and Speech Facility. The proposed facility will be designed to support the advanced research and outreach programs of the ABAIR project in developing speech technology and phonetic/linguistic resources for Irish. The mobility of the facility will allow for full access to the Irish speaking regions for field work and data collection. It is envisaged that it will be used extensively in various Gaeltacht locations. It will also be used outside the Gaeltacht, e.g. Irish language festivals such as Oireachtas na Gaeilge, both for data collection and for outreach activities in schools etc.
