Description

The Commissioners of Public Works intend to appoint a number of Mechanical and Electrical Consulting Engineers to provide professional engineering services in the area of reports, plant and systems upgrades, refurbishment, new build minor and Intermediate projects. A number of consulting engineers shall be appointed based on the geographical areas described below. The work may largely be described as work to existing buildings but may include some new build projects. The works generally include the following 1 Investigations and reports. This is mostly to inform the OPW of options with particular regard to the condition of the services and costs associated with upgrades, fit-outs etc. 2 Fit-outs (Partial or Full). Most shall be in office accommodation but there will be work to some specialist buildings such as Garda station, laboratories, data centres and the like. 3 Extensions to existing buildings. 4 Plant and systems replacement and upgrades.
