This is not an award procedure, but a non-binding request for information, which serves solely to explore the market in accordance with Section 20 of the German Sub-Threshold Procurement Ordinance (UVgO).
With this market investigation, the Max Plack Institute for Multidisciplinary Natural Sciences, Göttingen wishes to obtain an overview of possible bidders who are in a position to organize a scientific conference.
The client reserves the right to take further steps under public procurement law.

Service description
The Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Science intends to award a contract for support in the organization of the "International Hyperpolarization Conference 2026" (HYP). The conference will take place from 06 to 10 September 2026 in Göttingen.
The conference will provide a forum for fruitful scientific exchange, a valuable tool for competence building and knowledge transfer between the different methods of hyperpolarization. The program will consist of invited talks and contributions.
The date has been set, lecture halls and seminar rooms in the Central University Building (ZHG) of the University of Göttingen have been booked.
The 2023 website, https://www.hyp23.org , gives an impression of the conference.
It is expected that 200 - 250 people will attend, and the conference language will be English.

Important requirements
The agency must have experience in organizing scientific conferences, as well as many years of experience and extensive networking, preferably with partners EPR and NMR specialists. Three references must be attached to the expression of interest in order to determine suitability. If this is not done, the agency will be excluded from the next steps.
