Description

A large Indian dominant commercial vehicle original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is looking for global suppliers who can supply them with low rolling resistance (LRR) tyres.

The Indian company would like to speak UK companies or start-ups who have, or are developing, LRR tyre technologies. It does not want to engage with consultants or third parties.

The Indian commercial vehicle market is expected to grow to over 1.25 million units in sales valued at £55 billion by 2030.

India currently has over 15,000 e-buses in operation and is aiming to get 50,000 electric buses on its streets by 2027 (Indian government).
