Description
1.1 Scope of work
The scope of work to be performed by the CONTRACTOR of "Lot 35A - Demolition and Concrete Work for the Replacement of the Funicular Railway" includes, but is not limited to, the supply of all labor, materials, equipment, materials and services required to complete a complete and functional structure. Plans and Specifications can be found in Appendices C "STRUCTURAL QUOTATIONS" and D "PLANS FOR TENDERING".
Also included, but not limited to:
- All demolition work shown on the Plans and Specifications and necessary for the construction work;
- All surveying work, slab and/or wall radiographs and any other measurements required to complete the work;
- Workers' travel on site to reach their place of work, board and travel expenses for all workers and subcontractors;
- Scaffolding and other temporary installations required for the work;
- Lifting plan, work procedures and temporary installation certificates signed and sealed by an OIQ member engineer, if required;
- Development of work methods;
- Repair of walls, ceilings and floors following demolition work;
- Transportation of all materials and equipment;
- Protection of all adjoining structures and marking of structures when requested/required;
- Management of noise, dust, concrete spalls, laitance, water or any other contaminant specific to its work;
- Control, treatment and disposal of water and sludge resulting from demolition, drilling, cleaning, concreting and all other activities;
- Attendance at weekly meetings;
- All drilling, chemical or mechanical anchoring in connection with concrete work;
- Fine coordination with the contractor responsible for replacing the funicular for all works under this AO;
- Verification with a surveyor of the elements integrated into the formwork on request;
- All sleeves where existing or future mechanical networks are present in the concreted structures;
- Shop drawings and other samples as required;
- Costs related to wet curing when required;
- Saw drafts when required;
- Waste disposal to skips provided;
- Temporary shoring when required;
- All mobilization/demobilization costs inherent in the phasing of the worksite;
- All rework and finishing required for the application of future finishes.
