Lot 2 Structural design services in accordance with Section 53 HOAIThe municipality of Weißenthurm is planning to build another daycare center in the town of Weißenthurm according to the specifications of a facility already built in 2020 in the local community of Urmitz. Another building with slight modifications is currently being constructed in the town of Weißenthurm according to the specifications of this "model daycare center". In order to meet the constantly growing demand for childcare places, a further facility for up to 115 children is planned in accordance with the specifications of the "model daycare center". According to the specifications of the open KiTa concept, the floor plan is divided into four main function rooms ("group rooms") and four further secondary function rooms. The generally usable areas such as the multi-purpose room, bistro as well as the administration and staff rooms are located next to the central entrance. The two childcare areas (children over 3 years and children under 3 years) are located adjacent to this. The single-storey building will be built with a flat roof using conventional construction methods. A masonry construction made of thermally insulated lightweight concrete blocks with a color-contrasting exterior plaster is planned. Partition walls will be built partly in drywall construction or also as solid masonry walls. In the area of the play terraces, the floor and walls will be clad in wood. The window and exterior door elements are designed as a wood-aluminum construction. In addition to the large window areas, skylights in the corridors and bistro ensure sufficient daylight and bright rooms. The building services are designed to meet the latest energy requirements. The building is heated by an electric air heat pump. A photovoltaic system (approx. 26 kWp) will be installed on the flat roof surface. The bedrooms and interior utility rooms will be mechanically ventilated. In addition to an energy-saving lighting concept and optimized electrical equipment, the KiTa will be equipped with a burglar alarm system. 1,272.00 m² of gross floor area and a gross volume of around 5,177 m³. The associated plot has a size of approx. 2,953 m², of which approx. 1,685 m² is to be included for the open spaces. The outdoor area is to be divided into various play zones (sand areas, bicycle course, garden area) which are assigned to the childcare areas (U3/Ü3).
