Description

Behavioral monitoring kits for animals. These are NewBehavior IntelliCage® cages (or equivalent) for computerized and automatic 24-hour (24 h/7 d) behavioural and cognitive monitoring of rodents living in social groups of up to 16 mice or up to 8 rats. It allows for long-term studies to be carried out in a house cage that imitates the natural environment, reducing interference by the researcher in order to minimise their stress and standardise study results. The set must enable a wide range of research, such as observation of social behaviour (an additional component of the Social Box with periphery), instrumental conditioning and spatial science tasks. The kit must allow monitoring of the behaviour of individual animals in a group through automatic identification.
