This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research purposes ONLY.

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine whether there are potentially qualified SMALL BUSINESS concerns capable of providing IPSEN Vacuum Furnace Maintenance Services at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida.

This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation to bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set-aside the requirement for SMALL BUSINESS.

NAICS Code: 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance

Description/Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, labor, material, and equipment to perform preventative maintenance services on the IPSEN Vacuum Furnace (P/A: 65886066592; Model No.: HR 66X60 2-Bar).

All work shall be performed in accordance with the preventative maintenance sections of the IPSEN Operating and Maintenance Manual, 212-J/412-J Microwave Pump manual, Stokes Blower Operating Instructions, Stokes Vacuum Booster 900-615 manual, Varian Dual Stage Rotary Vane Pumps DS-402 manual, and High Throughput Diffusion Pump manual. Section IV outlines the suggested checks to make on the various components of the furnace and the suggested frequency. In the event a part(s) needs to be replaced during the PM, FRCSE will furnish the required part(s) and the contractor shall install it free of charge. The contractor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to Federal Law, Florida State Law(s), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, and Navy and installation regulations.

The furnace is located at NAS Jacksonville, FL, Bldg. 797. The Contractor shall have the ability to obtain access to the U.S. Naval Station.

All travel costs and any applicable shipping shall be included in the price to perform services and shall not be billed separately

It is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a Firm- Fixed-Price (FFP) contract, with a Product Service Code (PSC) L044 and NAICS Code of 811310 with a size standard of $7.5 Million.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Responses to this Sources Sought (SS) notice shall not exceed two (2) pages and shall be prepared using Times New Roman font no smaller than 12 point. The technical capabilities statement shall include: A cover page containing the company’s name, address, Cage code, DUNS number, years in business, affiliate information, parent company, joint venture partners, NAICS code 811310, business size socio-economic statues, Government business point of contact, name, phone number, and email address.

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this SS notice or any follow-up information requests.

No telephone calls requesting a solicitation package will be accepted because there is no solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) will not be provided and no appointments for presentation will be made.
