Klinikum Erding is a municipal hospital providing basic and standard care with 330 inpatient beds and 12 outpatient places in the pain day clinic and is wholly owned by the district of Erding. In addition to its mission to provide healthcare for the region at its two locations in Erding and Dorfen, the Er-ding Clinic is also of great economic importance. With its attractive employment opportunities for over 1000 people (including schoolchildren), the clinic is the largest municipal employer in the district. In addition, the clinic is an academic teaching hospital of the Technical University of Munich and the location for two of its own vocational schools for nursing professions: the vocational schools for nursing and nursing assistance. The hospital currently operates 29 ultrasound machines and is striving to modernize its medical technology in the field of ultrasound in an innovative partnership approach with an external service provider. The contract term of the technology partnership is at least eight years with an option to extend for two years. In addition to guaranteeing the quality and availability of the equipment, consulting services for the optimization of the equipment fleet and optionally for structures and processes of medical operations based on the medical technology involved are also desired.
