Description

Specifications of the drilling rigs:

a)Two (2) sets of 2000 hp DC electric land rigs with JJ450/45-K cantilever mast Height of monkey board (racking platform) from ground: 37m Height of mast (drill floor to crown platform): 45.5m Drill floor height (from ground): 10.5m

b) One (1) 550 hp mechanical land rig with JJ135/28-S telescoping cantilever mast Height of monkey board (racking platform) from ground: 22.5m Height of mast (drill floor to crown platform): 32m Drill floor height (from ground): 4.6m

Derrick emergency escape system:

a) The derrick emergency escape system shall be the safety slide type - Geronimo or equivalent.
b. The emergency escape unit shall be supplied complete with all rig up hardware - cable, thimbles and clamps.
c. Cable size shall be 1/2" diameter 6 x 26 IWRC conforming to API Spec 9A.
d. Thimbles and cable clamps shall be 1/2" size.
e. Assembly of the escape cable shall conform to API RP 9B.
f. The system shall be installed and commissioned by the supplier. Commissioning shall include training of the drilling crew on the safe use of the escape device.
