This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is T003-19-IQ-RFQ-00066 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811310 with a small business size standard of 1,000.00 employees. This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids.
 
The Broadcasting Board of Governors requires the following item, Brand Name or Equal, to the following:
 
One (1) Kato Engineering Synchronous Brushless Revolving Field Generator with a direct connected rotation brushless exciter, in accordance with the following specifications:
 
a.           Code: 6P6-3100
b.           Type: 6 Pole, 1000 RPM
c.           Electrical Rating: 1135 KW, 1418.8 KVA,0.8 P.F., 3  Phase, 50 Hertz,
3300 volts
d.           Connection: 6 Wire, Wye
e.           Duty: Continuous

This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be considered for award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines. Registration information can be found at www.sam.gov. Registration must be "ACTIVE" at the time of award.
