Description
This Invitation to Tender (the “ITT”) is an invitation by the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for – Townline Wellfield Renewal - Wells Decommission & New Construction, as further described in the ITT.A site visit will be held at 1400 Townline Road on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM. This site visit is optional. Bidders are requested to RSVP to site visit to Michael Schwanke, Senior Project Engineer, email: mschwanke@abbotsford.ca. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:Conversion of one (1) active groundwater well, Townline 1 (T1A) to a monitoring well. Decommissioning one (1) abandoned well, Townline 1 (T1B). Demolition of the Townline 2 (T2) well house. Addition of a pitless adapter to the T2 well head and modifications to the surface seal. Construction of a new well house, Townline 3 (T3). Approximately 160 m of watermain construction and associated appurtenances. Approximately 200 m of storm sewer construction and associated appurtenances. Site grading and stormwater management. Various removals and site restoration activities. Substantial Performance is to be achieved by May 1, 2025.
