Description
The project involves excavation work, the installation of raw water supply pipes and the supply and installation of related accessories using the directional drilling technique, i.e. a main pipe and a future pavilion pipe. The HDPE main, approximately 2,475 linear metres in length and 100 mm in diameter, will connect the new well (CS/PE-1-21) to the service buildings housing the drinking water treatment system in the Johnville area of Cookshire-Eaton. The planned HDPE pipe for the future pavilion will be 300 linear metres long and 50 mm in diameter.

Documents are available at the cost established by SEAO. Printing and delivery will be invoiced by SEAO. Plans and specifications are non-refundable.

Consequently, all contractors must ensure that they have obtained all documents related to this call for tenders before submitting their bid.
To be valid, all bids must be accompanied by a deposit or bid bond equal to 10% of the total bid. The deposit or bond must be made out in the name of the client and is conditionally refundable.
Only those companies whose principal place of business is in Canada or in territories covered by the Agreement on Internal Trade (A.I.T.) and who have obtained the invitation to tender issued by the Awarding Authority on their behalf through the SEAO are eligible to bid.
Sealed bids must be received at the project owner's office, to the attention of Mr. René Lavigne, Project Office Manager, before 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 02, 2024, at 220, rue Principale Est (J0B 1M0). Tenders will be opened in the presence of only two witnesses who have no interest in the contract, at the municipal office, after the time scheduled for their receipt, in the council chambers of the Town of Cookshire-Eaton, located at 220, rue Principale Est.
