Description
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Build Nova Scotia (“BNS”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of cellular network infrastructure (a “Project”) to unserved and unserved (collectively the “Unserved”) locations throughout Nova Scotia as further described in Section B of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
There are approximately 15,000 unserved civic addresses and 800 kilometres of unserved primary roads in Nova Scotia. As such, BNS has been charged by the Province to plan, design and manage the implementation of expanded cellular coverage throughout the province.
BNS is working to accomplish this goal through investments from the Province of Nova Scotia as well as leveraging key partnerships with the Federal Government, Municipalities and private industry.
