Description
qathet Regional District (Regional District), a local government authority on the west coast of British Columbia, invites you to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP). This is strictly an invitation for proposals and not a tender call. From the RFP’s received, the Regional District will negotiate with a choice Proponent. Subsequent discussion and negotiations will be required to establish final terms of any Contract.The Regional District is seeking the services of an experienced Information Technology (IT) Managed Services Provider to provide a full range of IT support services, including but not limited to: on-site and remote system maintenance; infrastructure installation and repair; desktop image development and deployment; desktop support and troubleshooting; support for roaming profiles; domain management; network management and monitoring; account setups and access permissions; security management; backups, testing and recovery; system monitoring with alerting tools; managing third-party vendors and technology suppliers; software installation, updating and patching; provision of Active Directory, remote access, Email and data base administration; software licensing management, equipment warranty management, and assisting in IT asset tracking and budget planning.
