Description

A leading oil refinery has issued a global tender for supply of single point mooring (SPM) buoy (turntable/turret/wheel & rail type) complete with tanker mooring system, product transfer system, subsea hoses, hydraulic power unit (HPU), navigational aids, cathodic protection system for buoy, telemetry system, and safety equipment, etc. The new SPM buoy will be installed at the existing SPM-II location using the same existing anchor chains over the existing PLEM.

The SPM system shall be designed to provide a service life of 30 years in water without drydock. Class certificate of supplied SPM buoy shall be provided from classification authority (ABS, DNV or Lloyds) for 30 year uninterrupted operation in water without dry docking after award of order.
