Description
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to invite proposals from Proponents for tax preparation and filing services for the Clients of the Public Guardian and Trustee of British Columbia (PGT). The PGT is looking to secure qualified, timely and cost-effective tax preparation and advice services from one or more Contractors who are in the business of providing tax services to assist the PGT in fulfilling its critical role in ensuring its Clients are meeting their taxation requirements.This RFP has three distinct Service Areas; Proponents may apply to one, two or all three Service Areas, noting that each Service Area will be evaluated separately. A Proponent that applies to more than one Service Area may be successful in one, some or all.Specifically, the Service Areas are:1. Canadian Tax Services – Basic2. Canadian Tax Services – Complex3. US Tax ServicesThe Contract start date is expected to be on or about July 1st, 2025 or such other date as will be mutually agreeable. The PGT wishes to enter into one three-year Contract in each of the Service Areas, with two options to renew for three years each, at the sole discretion of the PGT.
