Chile - Improvement of Plaza Venezuela

Description

The project considers the improvement of Plaza Venezuela, located in the San Joaquín neighborhood of Pedro Aguirre Cerda. The intervention includes the construction of pavements, creating a new pedestrian and accessible route; the green areas are redesigned to prevent vehicles from entering the BNUP, which is used as a vehicle parking lot; grass is removed and replaced with low water consumption vegetation; The planned games are replaced and accessible modular games with rubber pavement are added; concrete posts are replaced, pedestrian lights are added in interior circulations and inclusive benches are included, and the play area is redesigned to form perimeter fences and recover the area of the lower plaza that is abandoned.
