Description

IHP GmbH is an institute of the Leibniz Association, with the state of Brandenburg as its sole shareholder. It conducts research and development on silicon-based systems, high-frequency circuits and technologies, including new materials. Innovative solutions are developed for application areas such as wireless and broadband communication, security, medical technology, Industry 4.0, mobility and space travel. The IHP employs around 390 people. It has a pilot line for technological developments and the preparation of high-speed circuits with 0.13/0.25 µm BiCMOS technologies, which is located in a 1500 m2 clean room certified in accordance with DIN ISO 14644, and the files and administrative processes are to be digitalized in order to improve process efficiency and effectiveness. A document and workflow management system is to be purchased for this purpose. A large number of preparatory activities have already been carried out in advance. Against this background, a solution provider for a document management system is being sought who can supply the DM system itself with all the necessary ancillary programs and licenses and install it ready for operation. It is also expected to operate the overall solution. In the first expansion stage, a workflow and two electronic files are to be implemented and rolled out throughout the institute. The offer should take into account the components and services required for the expansion stages specified in this invitation to tender. This also includes the necessary project support, infrastructure planning and scheduling for an overall concept, as well as training for administrators and key users to be provided by the solution provider. The service period is 48 months. IHP GmbH is planning around six months for the implementation, training and acceptance of the pilot deployment areas. This will be followed by the institute-wide roll-out, also estimated at around six months, before further areas of application are to be implemented in coordination with the DMS provider. The deployment areas of expansion stage 2 are not part of this contract award.
