Description
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of the IF56 to Hanson Lake 138kV Line Construction as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).
This Project is required to interconnect a proposed copper mine in Northern Saskatchewan and includes approximately 80 km of new 138 kV transmission line construction (operated at 110 kV) from the existing IF56 line to the Foran mine site.
SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.
