Description

The University Hospital Halle (Saale) is carrying out the following procurement on behalf of the Medical Faculty of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg: Development of a hackathon concept in the field of medicine, health and care in Pristina as part of the ICR project (Innovative Care Robotics). The planned hackathon for the ICR project has two main objectives:
- Increasing the visibility of the ICR project: the hackathon provides an excellent opportunity to present the ICR project to an international audience. The project will be positioned as an innovative and forward-looking framework project when recruiting participants and addressing (supra-)regional start-ups, economic and scientific institutions and health policy decision-makers. This intensive public relations work should help to raise awareness of the ICR project and arouse interest in the current and future plans. The event will be used to present the Future Care Lab as a center for participatory research and solutions in the healthcare sector and to expand its potential applications beyond the school context.
- Promoting the development of ideas and networking: The hackathon aims to develop innovative projects and products in the field of robotic and digital assistance systems by working on specific challenges in healthcare. These innovations could help shape the future of healthcare in the Southwest Balkans and strengthen the region as an attractive location for healthcare solutions and jobs. In addition, the international cooperation at the hackathon enables the establishment of a network that can create valuable contacts and opportunities beyond the event.
The content is to be created and implemented in accordance with the valid project application and the relevant cooperation in consultation with other cooperation partners (Kolegji Heimerer) or after consultation with the client.
The assignment therefore includes the conception of a 3-day hackathon in Pristina (Kosovo) in the fields of medicine, health, care and digitalization. A close exchange with the contractor and local stakeholders is essential for the subsequent implementation. On-site visits must be planned for this purpose. The sustainability of the program should be ensured through the support of the service provider.
The planned award will be carried out as part of a negotiated award without a call for competition in accordance with Section 12 UVgO. Interested companies that consider themselves capable of providing the service are invited to submit a bid by 25.11.2024, 10:00 a.m. The procedure will be conducted exclusively via the federal government's e-tendering platform (electronic procedure / electronic submission of tenders); interested companies are requested to contact vergabe@uk-halle.de by 12:00 noon on 21.11.2024 to receive the tender documents.
The documents to be submitted with the tender and the requirements for assessing the suitability of the applicants are listed in the tender documents.
The grounds for exclusion pursuant to Sections 123, 124 GWB apply accordingly.
